Suitability for Course
The Retirement Planning training course is designed for those who are approaching their retirement date, whether this be at normal retirement age or if you are planning to take early retirement. The course is equally applicable if you are already retired.
This course is part of a program of Human Resources training courses which also includes training on Attendance Management, Diversity and Equal Opportunities, Return to Work Interviews and Performance Management.
Training Overview
Retirement will mean some significant changes to your life – your income will be reduced, your use of time will alter and the relationship with your partner and/or friends will undergo a transformation.As with anything, the better you prepare for these changes the easier they will become and the better you will cope with them.
Course Content
The Retirement Planning training is delivered by our consultants who have a wealth of experience of delivering pre-retirement training in the corporate sector.
The main objectives of the course are to:
- Introduce clients to the new and enjoyable lifestyle that retirement can produce
- Address the fears and financial worries that can be associated with retirement
- Focus clients on the world of opportunity and enjoyment that can exist during retirement
- Ensure adequate plans are in place for retirement including legal matters such as wills etc.
Assessment
The Retirement Planning course is knowledge-based and will be assessed by means of an internal assessment.
Course Duration
The Retirement Planning training course is run as a full day training course.
